They said it would be delivered on Monday 9am-5pm, they'd call with a window. I waited. I called and [EDIT} #1 couldn't find the car. I waited. Said oh we may deliver it tonight (which would mean I would have to drive to work to meet them or the next day. I waited--no call. Next morning I get a call at 12 says the guy will be here between 1 and 2. [EDIT] #2 calls and says he's 5 minutes away. I tell him again where to park the semi. He calls me and says he's on a different street and I should come get it. I call boss [EDIT] #1 and tell him his employee ([EDIT] #2) refuses to drive to the address because there's no parking. Since I had blocked off a 200 foot runway for him I'm fairly certain he never bothered to drive to the address to verify there was no parking. I walk down to meet [EDIT] #2 and he's not at his truck. I call him and he says he drove the car to the address (are they supposed to do that?). I gave him the check. I would blow up my car before I would let Rainier [EDIT] touch a car of mine. Think they'll pay for the 3 new scratches--doubtful.

Rainier Trucking picked up and delivered my car without any problems. The only hitch I had was with the representative at the pickup point regarding the method of payment on the remaining balance. The instructions emailed to me and also verified over the phone was that the balance could be paid in cash, cashiers check or money order. So I got a cashiers check made out to Rainier Trucking (I figured it was safer than handing over cash) and upon presenting it to the representative, he insisted that it had to be in cash only, regardless of what my paperwork said. He also insisted that he was in a hurry (not sure why) and therefore, he didn't have time to argue the point and just wanted cash only. That made me a little leery but after I insisted that a cashiers check was one of the payment options (I even showed him the paperwork) and it was obvious that I was not going to budge on the matter (not to mention that I did not have $500 cash on me), he reluctantly took my cashiers check. So the actual transporting of my car went without a hitch, just the payment at the end left much to be desired.
